This year has been full of surprises. Most of what I had planned got chucked out of the window early on. Sounds familiar? I’m not alone, right? Well, some of it got delayed, but this year also had pleasant surprises. And that’s why I have some exciting news to share with you today.
Devil’s Deal re-release
After I published Devil’s Deal last year, and reviews came in, I already knew I wanted to rework the book later with the help of a professional editor. At the beginning of the year, when a gig came in and I finally had the money to pay for a proper editor. I already knew who I wanted to hire, so it wasn’t much more than a question of ‘when do you have time?’
I finally have it back and finished the edits. The editor certainly helped to make the book much better. No more consistency errors (I even picked up on some others didn’t), and I added a few new long scenes. While the story is still largely the same but it’s executed better, the characters are better, the dialogue is better. So even if you’ve already have read it, reading it again is worth it.
Now the only thing left is to proofread and make sure embarrassing typos disappear. So Devil’s Deal is nearly ready to be released! I hope to launch it again in the week of December 14 (maybe even sooner). I don’t have a specific date yet, but I want to release it as soon as possible.
99 cents, or free?!
Because it’s a re-release, I want to do something special for the fans. The book will be 99 cents or the equivalent until the end of the year. If you already own a copy of Devil’s Deal, I want to send you a free digital copy of the new version. All you have to do is send me a picture of your purchase or your copy via email or Twitter and I can mail you a MOBI or EPUB file, whichever you prefer.
You can sign up for my personal newsletter to stay up to date with all my writing endeavors, but if you only want to know when a new book is coming out, you can also follow my author page on Amazon or on BookBub. They will send you emails with new releases to your preferred store.
What’s next?
There are two more books in the Infernal Contracts trilogy. The second book is with the editor now, and I’m finishing up the first draft of book three. I’ve shared the titles and the covers with my newsletter subscribers already, but I’m not sharing the covers in public yet. But I will share the titles with you.
The second book in the trilogy is called Lucifer’s Favour and the third book is called Beelzebub’s Bargain.
I will share the covers again in the release newsletter of Devil’s Deal so if you’re curious, be sure to sign up!
This is soooo exciting Tess! Can’t wait to read it.
