It’s been a while since I wrote about my progress and since the next few months will be incredibly busy, I wanted to give you an update on what’s going on in the writing area of my life.
Lucifer’s Favour
We’re nearing the end with edits for Lucifer’s Favour and we’re still aiming for an April release. My health is terrible at the moment and while some people can write through the pain, my brain is mostly occupied and fuzzy when I’m in this much pain. I could draft but editing requires more analytical energy. That’s never been a strength of mine so when I’m already running on limited resources, editing becomes even harder. I calculated in buffer time but I can’t delay too much. So no cover reveal yet, no pre-order date, until I’ve finished this round and we’re moving into the proofreading phase (which should be much easier).
If you’d like a review copy before the second book is released, let me know and I’ll send a digital copy.
Beelzebub’s Bargain
I stopped halfway through my revision of Beelzebub’s Bargain because I got my edits back for Lucifer’s Favour and getting that book out is more important. There’s also a big merge/restructure I have to do for the next couple of chapters and want to take a full day without distractions to tackle that. I know the book will be so much better after I’m done with this round. The pace will be better, the character arcs better, less filler, more story.
Unannounced project
As I’m writing this, the project hasn’t been announced yet. But something is coming! I’m really excited about it and can’t wait to share it with you all.
April event
If you follow me on Twitter you might already know I’m planning an event in April. I’ve had way more sign-ups than I’d anticipated but that only makes it more exciting. We’re working on it in the background, during our free time, and on weekends. Since the scope of it is much bigger than we initially thought, I want to put in more work too, to make sure the quality is even better. If you’re a book blogger, bookstagrammer, or booktuber and want to help out with this event and celebrate #indieapril, please contact me. You can find me on Twitter (@endalia), comment on this post, or send me an email.
Sending you *hugs* <3 I really hope the pain eases soon. Sounds like you're a busy little bee regardless though! Excited to hear what's coming. And I may be able to join for Indie April, but I can't make promises.
Thank you
